About the event
Featuring artists Ian Gindes, David Govetsen, Tyler Lee, Angela Born, and Desirée Hassler, with narration written by Jeff Ernstoff, this performance is based on actual letters written during our nation’s most crucial wars, including the American Revolution, the Civil War, World War I, World War II, Vietnam, and the Gulf War.
In celebration of the 250th birthday of the USA, each song shares the real experiences of service members and their loved ones in recognition of the sacrifices that made our nation possible with classical music that touches on our artistic heritage of art song, classic broadway, Americana, and more!
